On Saturday evening, January 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident at a residential location on Anna’s Way in the Pot Nets Bayside development off of Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a general fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 and Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Incident Command 80 and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments were requested to coordinate an initial exterior evaluation and identify the concern for the incident alarm.

Incident Command was able to ascertain the rationale for the alarm and cancelled all responding apparatus.  The incident was placed under control with all apparatus returning to their respective stations.
