Nature: Brush Fire

On Saturday evening, January 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush fire on Hollymount Road.  It was reported to be a fire in the neighbor’s back yard.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Incident Command 80, Brush 80 and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident evaluation and investigation to identify the source and scope of the incident.

After evaluation and discussion, the residential occupants were advised of the Delaware Burn Regulations and all other emergency response units were cancelled and authorized to return to their respective quarters.
