On Saturday afternoon, January 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm and medic alarm at a residence on Seaview Loop in the Long Neck Shores development.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation of the residential structure, identification of the utilities, and commencement with in an interior evaluation.  There were not any changes to the initial incident report.

After evaluation and consultation, the was unfounded.

All units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
