Nature: Alarms - Residential (Single) - Smoke detector

On Friday morning, January 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential structure on Bunting Circle in the Walden development off Holly Mount Road.  It was reported to be an upstairs smoke detector activation.

Emergency response units included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were cancelled after proper password was provided and the persons on scene did not desire a fire department response as vacuum dust caused the activation.

All emergency response apparatus was authorized to return to their respective quarters.
