Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm

Location: 1 Falcon Crest Dr Falcon Crest, DE 19951

On Wednesday, November 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Falcon Crest Drive in the Falcon Crest development off Beaver Dam Road. It was reported to be an alarm sounding with no additional information.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included a completed 360 evaluation of the building with location of utilities.  A crew was assigned to perform and interior evaluation as well.

It was identified to be a culinary mishap as the rationale for the activation.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
