Nature: Outbuilding Fire – Pole Building with Exposures - Assist Millsboro (83) 

Location: 26481 Jersey Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

Early Monday morning, November 3^rd, the Indian River (80) and Dagsboro (73) fire companies were alerted to assist Millsboro (83) Fire Company with a working outbuilding fire with exposures.  The outbuilding was identified as a 30 x 40 pole building with exposures including a Class B style recreational camper and other residential buildings.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included reporting to the manpower for delegation of duties, assistance with fire suppression, water supply to the Tanker 83, and provided a standby engine for Dagsboro, Millsboro and Indian River should an additional emergency incident be received in the fire district.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.
