Nature: Structure Fire – Residential

Location: 12 Carolina St Dewey Beach, DE 19971

Earlier Monday morning, October 13^th, the Lewes (82), Bethany Beach (70), Indian River (80), Milton (85), Millsboro (83), Millville (84), Georgetown (77), Memorial (89) fire companies were alerted to assist the Rehoboth Beach (86) fire department with a residential structure fire with multiple exposures on Carolina Street in Dewey Beach. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

It was reported to be a two-story residential structure fully involved with other possible residential exposures.

There were three (3) firefighters that needed EMS evaluation and at least two transported to nearby medical facilities. 

Many emergency response units responded and performed specific assignments and provided manpower resources to the incident commanders.
