DE Volunteer Firefighter Association holds 30th Annual Conference 

The Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association (DVFA) held its 2025 Conference in Rehoboth Beach from September 22 to 25. The annual event for firefighters and the Ladies Auxiliaries took place at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center and the Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach.

According to the association, the conference included educational seminars, honored distinguished members and celebrated the accomplishments made throughout the year. 

The educational part of the conference is important to all first responders, but getting tighter and networking and sharing ideas and thoughts are also an important element of the conference.   

In addition to opening and closing ceremonies, the agenda included business meetings for the DVFA and the Ladies Auxiliary of the DVFA (LADVFA), a Past Presidents Reception, a Memorial Service, and a host of other events.

Emergency response apparatus and equipment was on display, with vendors showcasing the latest versions of lifesaving gear.
