Nature: Vehicle Accident

On Thursday afternoon, September 18^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and the Millsboro EMS were alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a two-vehicle incident and requesting an ambulance.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient evaluation and stabilization where needed, vehicle stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control and overall incident mitigation.

It appears that a black Toyota RAV4 and a silver Toyota Tacoma collided on John J. Williams Highway causing front end damage to both vehicles.  All vehicle occupants declined any additional medical services.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigation.
