Nature: Engine #80-1 Departs for Coaling Alabama

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce that the transfer (sale) of Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard, Sussex County, Delaware facility to the Coaling, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama facility has commenced.  The Coaling Fire Protection District will be the proud owners of this 2001 Spartan 4-Guys Pumper.

Engine #80-1 was phased out of service with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company based upon fleet apparatus upgrade objectives.  Over the past few years, the general membership has been preparing this apparatus transition.
