Nature: Vehicle Accident

On Friday evening, August 29^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Holly Lake Road near John J. Williams Highway.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be a two vehicle accident with unknown patients but needed an ambulance.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient stabilization and assistance with traffic control.  Emergency response apparatus were cancelled upon arrival of Squad 80 as not needed.

It appears there was an incident in the parking lot of Holly Lake Campground which necessitated medical attention.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control during the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
