Nature: Structure Fire – Assist Lewes (82)

Location: 36152 Overfalls Dr S Breakwater, DE 19958

On Thursday evening, July 31^st, the Indian River (80), Milton (85) and Rehoboth Beach (86) fire companies were alerted to assist the Lewes (82) Fire Department with the residential structure fire on Overfalls Drive South in the Breakwater Development off Gills Neck Road.  It was reported to be a building/structure fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility and Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crew assignments for Engine 80 interior evaluation for extensions on the 2^nd and 3^rd floors of the residential structure and assistance with other fireground tasks as needed.  Tower 80 was cancelled while enroute to the incident location.

It appears that there was a smoke haze condition in the garage with an odor of smoke which may have been caused by the periods of inclement weather passing through the area.
