Nature: Traffic Collision

Address: Long Neck Rd and Cove Dr Mariners Cove, DE 19966

On Thursday afternoon, July 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road in the vicinity of Cove Drive.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be a two- vehicle collision with air bag deployment.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Long Neck facility and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response personnel from Rescue 80 evaluated and determined this incident to be a property damage collision with no injuries; therefore, all emergency response apparatus was cancelled while responding or returned.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
