Nature: Outside Fire

Location: Bay Farm Rd and Fowlers Path Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Saturday evening, December 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an outside fire in the vicinity of Bay Farm Road and Fowlers Path at the entrance to Peninsula Lakes.  It was reported to be a fence on fire between the Peninsula and Peninsula Lakes.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Brush 80-0, Incident Command 80, and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments were fire suppression and saturation of the affected areas.  Brush 80-0 was directed to the scene and all other apparatus was cancelled.

It appears that a small area of brush and fencing caught fire within the immediate area.
