Nature: Brush Fire

Location: Oak Orchard Rd and Hersel Davis Lane, Millsboro, DE 19966

Early Thursday morning, May 13^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush fire on Oak Orchard Road and Hersel Davis Lane near the Captain’s Grant development. 

Emergency response units from Indian River was limited to the Tanker 80.  The Delaware State Police were on location.

Emergency response crew assignments included suppression activities.

The Delaware State Fire Police and other units were cancelled prior to arriving at the incident location.

The Delaware State Fire Marshall was provided information regarding this incident.
