Nature: Traumatic Injuries-ALS

On Monday evening, August 27th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a landing zone assignment to assistance the local emergency medical service and the Delaware State Police Trooper 2 Aviation unit. The initial incident alert was for a traumatic injury in or near Holly Lake Campsite.

The landing zone was established at the entrance to Baywood Green based upon the quantity of rain and soggy soil.

The Delaware State Police flew the patient to Christiana Medical Center.
