Deery, Jr., attended the Sussex County Fire Chief’s Association EXPO in Slaughter Beach at the Memorial Fire Company (Station 89 Headquarters). This annual event has developed into an opportunity for Delaware fire companies to review and discuss various apparatus acquisition desires, equipment acquisition desires, demonstrations and a day of genuine hospitality. Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the event and the patrons. Historically, this event has been hosted by the Memorial Fire Company, catered by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Memorial Fire Company and attended by many of the neighboring fire companies.
