Tuesday June, 7 2011 @ 23:40:05 Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm Address: 24180 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday evening, June 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an Automatic Fire Alarm sounding at the Verizon Building on John J. Williams Highway. Ryan Mock was Duty Officer and identified that there were audible alarms sounding upon his arrival. Initial reports were audible alarms but no visual conditions present. Ladder 80 was assigned to access the premises and investigate while Engines #80-1 & #80-3 were assigned to assist. After an initial evaluation of the interior and exterior of the building, it was determined to be a faulty detector.
