Tuesday August, 17 2010 @ 08:50:22 Nature: Structure Fire (Specific Request for Incident Response) Address: 32590 River Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 Tuesday August, 17 2010 @ 15:24:39 Nature: Dumpster Fire Address: 32590 River Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday morning of August 17th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was re-alerted pursuant to the specific request of neighbors concerned with the flare up conditions and desirous to mitigate various fire suppression tactics in order to fully suppress the smoldering residential debris from an earlier working residential structure fire which included the residential structure, an excavator, a fully loaded roll-off trash dumpster, and a nearby recreational camper. Incident Command was coordinated to surround and drown any and all smoldering cavities including the roll-off dumpster, the remnants of the residential structure, the excavator, and any other potential fire flare up concerns. Illustrated herewith are remnants of the residential structure, the excavator, the recreational camper and many nearby residential property or other storage sheds that were impacted by the incident. Incident response units included the Engine #80-2; Engine #80-3; Tanker 80, and the Delaware State Fire Police. The Delaware State Fire Marshals continue with their investigation
