Sunday June, 20 2010 Nature: Family Day @ the Delmarva Shorebirds Location: Perdue Stadium Address: Salisbury, MD On Sunday, June 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted the annual “Family Day @ the Shorebirds” event in appreciation for the diligence and dedication of its volunteer fire company representatives throughout the entire year. This event allows the volunteer fire company members to spend time with their immediate family members and enjoy a minor league baseball game courtesy of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company which provides transportation, event admission, food and refreshments during the event. The Roxana Fire Company provided stand-by coverage for Indian River’s fire district during the appreciation event.
