Saturday January, 16 2010 @ 16:06:39 Nature: Traffic/TransportationAcdntBLS Address: 30415 Smiling Wolf Ln Millsboro, DE 19966 On Saturday afternoon, January 16th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle accident on Cannon Road just east of Smiling Wolf Lane. It appears that back BMW 325A was traveling east on Cannon Road attempting to navigate a curve and left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a group of trees. Duty Officer – Jason M. Faulkner, Sr. responded directly to the incident location and advised that the vehicle struck some group of trees, the female driver of the vehicle remained in the vehicle. It was requested that Rescue 80’s emergency response personnel assist with patient packaging, provide vehicle stabilization with cribbing and disconnect the battery to prevent additional incident involving the vehicle. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident
