During the month of March 2008, Indian River’s volunteer fire and rescue personnel participated in a simulated vehicle collision and roll-over incident that involved multiple vehicle stabilization efforts and vehicle extrication measures and tactics, in order to fine tune and hone their respective knowledge, skills and abilities.
