Story
During the month of March 2008, Indian River’s volunteer fire and rescue personnel participated in a simulated vehicle collision and roll-over incident that involved multiple vehicle stabilization efforts and vehicle extrication measures and tactics, in order to fine tune and hone their respective knowledge, skills and abilities. The simulated training exercises were conducted at our Banks Road facility behind the Palmer’s Shopping Center on Long Neck Road. The vehicles utilized in the simulated exercises were donated by Fitzgerald’s Salvage Yard and Operations
