Nature: Structure Fire

Location: At Entrance of Harmony Woods

25146-25217 Harmony Woods Millsboro, DE 19966

Early Tuesday morning, November 28th, the Indian River (80) Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist Millsboro (83) Fire Company with a working structure fire in the Harmony Wood development.  It was reported to be new construction property with reported fire through the roof.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engines #80-1 and #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included assistance with fire suppression, establishment of a water supply to Ladder 83, establishment of fire ground lighting, and overall incident mitigation activities.

It appears that a newly constructed home in the Harmony Woods development caught fire and was fully involved at the time of incident alert.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.

There were no reported injuries associated with the incident.
