On Tuesday afternoon, July 10, 2007, at 2:36 p.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Millsboro Volunteer Fire Company with a reported working structure fire. Engine 80-2 arrived on location, and placed a fire suppression attack line in service through the front door of the residential structure. As additional fire crews arrived on scene, additional resources were deployed by the incident commander. This incident is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries.
