On Sunday, January 21, 2007, at 7:39 a.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival it was determined to have a two vehicle collision with one vehicle overturned. One patient was transported to a local medical facility. Firefighters were required to assist with patient care and securing the vehicles.
