On Monday, September 11, 2006, officers and members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company were in invited to participate in various memorial services for all persons who perished in the terrorism attacks that occured in New York City, the Pentagon, and Pennsylvania. It was a great honor and privelage for all who participated, so that no one will forget 9-11.
