On Monday, February 13, 2006, at 1400 hours, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched for a medical assist call in Bay City. During the incident, it was determined that since the family would not be able to take care of their family dog. Firefighter Dave Perrine graciously offered his assistance in taking care of "Molly." During this incident 22 firefighers were in service for 47 minutes under the command of Deputy Chief Brian Hubbs.
