At 8:16 AM on May 27, we were dispatched, along with the rest of the Water Rescue Task Force, for a small boat taking on water off Whitehouse Beach. Other agencies dispatched include Station 70, Bethany Beach, Station 86, Rehoboth Beach, State Police Trooper 2, and the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard reached the vessel in distress and assisted the occupants. Eighteen Indian River VFC firefighters were in service for forty-six minutes on this call.
