Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Harmons Hill Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday afternoon, May 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road at or near the intersection of Harmon’s Hill Road. It was reported to be two vehicles with minor injuries.

Emergency response units from Indian River include Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as Engine #80-1 and Brush 80-0 from the Long Neck facility. The Delaware State Fire Police responded as well.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, assist with patient stabilization where needed, traffic control, fluid and debris recovery, and other incident mitigation measures.

It appears that both vehicles were traveling on Indian Mission Road near the Harmon's Hill Road intersection when they collided.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
