Nature: IR Donates to Boys & Girls Club of Oak Orchard

On Wednesday, December 2nd, the Indian River in conjunction with the Nana’s Kids Campaign presented the Boys & Girls Club of Oak Orchard-Riverdale with a $500 contribution for its Capital Campaign.

This presentation was a collaborative effort with Carol Taylor, Representative of Nana’s Kids Campaign as well as Leolga Wright and Patrick Miller as they provided Millie Charnick, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club with the check.

As you may recall, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in the Wawa’s Long Neck location "Hoagies for Heroes" event and pledged to allocate funds to the Boys & Girls Club. This is the culmination of these activities.
