Firefighter Funeral Services on April 17, 2021 for Joseph M. LeVan Sr.

Millsboro (Long Neck / Oak Orchard Area):  The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company alerts motorists to anticipate delays for the funeral services of the Indian River and Good Will Firefighter Joseph M. LeVan, Sr. on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

The Viewing Services will be held from 11:00 AM until 1 PM at the Melson Funeral Home – Long Neck Chapel at 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE  19966.  The Funeral Services will commence immediately thereafter.

After the funeral service, a procession with firefighter honors will be held at the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company – Station #1 at 32628 Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, DE  19966.  Interment will be private.

The processional route will be: 

1. After leaving the Melson Funeral Home on turn right onto Long Neck Road.

2. Turning left onto Route 24/John J. Williams Highway to Oak Orchard Road. 

3. Turning left onto Oak Orchard Road and traveling to Chief’s Road.

4. Turning right on Chief’s Road onward to River Road. 

5. Turning left on River Road and traveling to Oak Orchard Road.

6. Turning left on Oak Orchard Road and proceeding to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Station 1 for a Firefighter’s Last Call.
