Nature: Structure Fire – Standby Cover Up Assignment – Millsboro (83)

Location: 30240 Dupont Blvd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday evening, December 28^th, the Indian River (80) and Roxana (90) fire companies were alerted to provide a standby assignment for the Millsboro (83) Volunteer Fire Company.  The Dagsboro (73) Fire Company was alerted for a structure fire on DuPont Highway and then requested other fire departments to respond before seeking standby or cover-up assignments.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments for Indian River included a standby assignment at Millsboro’s Station #1.

The Dagsboro (73), Millsboro  (83), Frankford (76), and Gumboro (79) fire companies were assigned to mitigate the residential structure incident.

The Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company may publish additional information regarding the incident at their discretion.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control assignments with the closure of travel lanes for DuPont Highway.
