Honoring Corporal Keith Heacock – Delmar Police Department

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company will continue offer its condolences and participate in ongoing efforts to honor the fallen officer, Cpl. Keith Heacock of the Delmar Police Department, as our state and communities mourn his passing.

Cpl. Heacock will receive a full police, fire, and EMS community escort from Baltimore, Maryland to Delmar, Delaware.  As Cpl. Heacock’s cavalcade traverses through Delaware, it will be joined with the Sussex County contingency in Bridgeville on Sunday afternoon.   The route through Delaware will be Route 404 to Bridgeville’s Market St., South Main St, and onto Sussex Highway (Rt. 13) towards Delmar.

There will be a variety of Sheriff's Offices, state and local Police Departments, Maryland State Police, Maryland Natural Resource Police, state and local Emergency Medical Services, as well as Fire Departments throughout the Delaware - Maryland Eastern Shore joining the procession to display our final salute to Cpl. Keith Heacock.
