Nature: Grand Design RV – Mid Atlantic Rally

Location: Massey’s Landing Resorts

Massey’s Landing RV Resort sponsored the Grant Design RV – Mid Atlantic Rally over the past weekend and the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was asked to present a fire prevention – fire safety program for the Grand Design RV Members.

Indian River Fire Prevention Committee developed an educational program to highlight RV safety, fire safety and a topic specific video.  The Fire Prevention Seminar commenced on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and included distribution of fire prevention materials, RV safety topics, camping safety topics, as well as marine and boating safety topics.  The was an apparatus display as well.

This event was attended by approximately 250 persons.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company expresses its appreciation to the Massey’s Landing Resort for allowing such an initiative to be developed.
