Nature: Structure Fire

On Tuesday morning, July 17th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire departments were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach (86) fire department with a structure fire on Pine Drive and Camp Arrowhead Road. It was reported to be a heavy smoke condition inside the structure.
Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.
Emergency response crew assignments included assistance with overhaul, ventilation, and removal of the appliance which appears to be the cause of the incident.
While enroute to the emergency incident the Tanker 80 was diverted to provide a standby cover up assignment at Lewes/Rehoboth Station #3. Rescue 80 responded to the scene and Engine #80-1 was cancelled.
It appears that a dryer unit caused a residential incident on Oak Drive.
