Nature: Rosenbauer Final Truck Inspection – Rescue 80

City: Lyons, South Dakota


On Wednesday, January 10th, members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Truck Committee traveled to Lyons, South Dakota to perform a final inspection on the new rescue truck that has been acquired.  This truck is 2018 Rosenbauer Commander, 1,000 gallon rescue engine that was designed to replace Engine #80-5 (1995 Spartan 4-Guys Pumper) and Rescue 80 (1997 Spartan 4-Guys Heavy Rescue).

It is anticipated that the new truck will be delivered to Delaware within the few weeks and finalized at DPC Emergency Services in Hartly, Delaware
