Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 30794 Friendship Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966

Early Tuesday morning, April 26th, the Indian River (80), Millsboro (83), and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted for a working trailer fire on Friendship Road near Independence Drive. It was reported to be fully involved.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility. The Delaware State Fire Police, the Delaware State Fire Marshall, and the respective utility companies made a response.

Emergency response crew assignments included implementation of fire suppression measures, protection of exposures, and water supply assistance.

Upon arrival of emergency apparatus, it was identified as a fully involved trailer fire with exposures.

The Dagsboro (73) Fire Company was alerted to provide stand-by coverage for Indian River's fire district during the incident.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
