Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm - Residential - Stonewater Creek

On Tuesday afternoon, September 15th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic alarm notification in a residential structure in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road. It was reported to be a fire alarm sounding within the structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 and Chief 80 from the Long Neck facility and Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crews coordinated an exterior and interior evaluation of the residential property. 

It was identified to be faulty detectors and reviewed the concerns with the residential occupants.

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their quarters upon compilation of their assignments.
