Nature: Structure Fire – Commercial – Dollar Tree

On Sunday evening, September 6^th, the Indian River (80), Milton (85) and Rehoboth Beach (86) fire companies were alerted to assist the Lewes (82) Fire Department with a commercial structure fire at the Dollar Tree in the Midway Shopping Center.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics.  It was reported as a building fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the pre-arranged standby assignment within the Pot Nets Bayside development.

Emergency response units were responding to the area of Midway Shopping Center when it was determined to be the volcano behind the shopping center.

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to cancelled and return to their specific quarters.
