Nature: Gas Leak – Commercial Structure – WSFS Bank

On Tuesday afternoon, September 1^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak incident within a commercial structure on 25926 Plaza Drive at the WSFS Bank.  It was reported to be an odor of gas within the commercial structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews performed an evaluation and monitoring of the situation.  There was an odor but there were not any gas detector readings.  There was no gas leak identified.

After evaluation and discussion with the property occupants, the incident was placed under control.

All emergency response units were authorized to remain or return to their respective quarters.
