Nature: Structure Fire – Commercial Buildings – East State Street

Cross Streets: N Morris St/Atkins St

On Wednesday, August 26, the Indian River (80) and Dagsboro (73) fire companies were alerted to assist Millsboro (83) Fire Company with a reported commercial structure fire on East State Street.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics. It was reported to be smoke coming from out of a door. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Upon initial arriving emergency response units from the Millsboro Fire Company all other emergency response units were downgraded and authorized to return to their respective quarters.
