Nature: Vehicle Accident – Hermit Lane – Pot Nets Seaside

On Wednesday evening, July 29^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for a vehicle accident involving a golf cart on Hermit Lane in the Pot Nets Seaside development.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics.  There were no aviation units available.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard area.

Emergency response crew assignments include patient stabilization where necessary as well as overall incident mitigation efforts.

It was reported that a golf cart occupant fell off the rear of the golf cart when it started to move forward.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
