Nature: Vehicle Accident

Address: Indian Mission Rd and John J. Williams Hwy., 19966

On Thursday afternoon, July 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway at the Indian Mission Road intersection.  It was reported to be a rear-end type collision with the possibility of one person desiring medical attention.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews assisted with patient stabilization where needed, fluid and debris if necessary and overall incident mitigation.

It was a rear end type vehicle accident and one person was transported to nearby medical facilities.

The Delaware State Fire Police assist with traffic as needed.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
