Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential

Address:  28307 Warwick Road, Millsboro

On Saturday, July 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm at the residential location on Warwick Road off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments include an initial exterior evaluation and commencing with an interior evaluation to identify the source of concern.

It was determined that a faulty detector was the issue and a replacement detector was provided and installed.

All units were authorized to return or remain in quarters.
