Nature: Citizen Assist – Child in a Vehicle - Giant Foods

On Thursday evening, July 2^nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a child locked in a vehicle on Plaza Drive near the Giant Foods.  It was reported to be children in vehicle and children are hitting each other.  Additional information identified girl is beating on boy in the vehicle with her.

Emergency response units included Chief 80 from the Oak Orchard area and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility.

This incident was identified as the children in the vehicle with windows down and did not need any fire company response.

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their quarters.
