On Saturday morning, June 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential automatic fire alarm incident on Reeve Road in the Plover Point development off Oak Orchard Road. It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Chief 80 from the Oak Orchard area and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crews received an additional notification that the property owner called back, with proper passcode and requested cancellation based upon an identified culinary mishap.

All units were authorized to return or remain in quarters.
