On Saturday evening, June 18th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an residential automatic fire alarm incident on River Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development. It was reported to be a living room smoke detector activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Command 80 from the Long Neck area.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior 360 evaluation and commencement with an interior evaluation and discussion with occupants which identified a culinary mishap.

All units were authorized to return or remain in quarters.
