Nature: Vehicle Accident

Address: John J Williams Hwy and Indian Mission Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, June 12^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for a vehicle accident at the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and Indian Mission Road.  It was originally reported to be a property damage incident involving two vehicles prior to seeking fire and EMS.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization if needed, patient stabilization where needed, and traffic control.

It was reported to be a property damage incident involving two vehicles with the desire to have a youth occupant evaluated.  All vehicles were off the roadway in the parking lot of the Cigarette Outlet.  Initial arriving apparatus cancelled other responding units.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated assistance for emergency apparatus and traffic control. 

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
