Location: Holly Lake Campsites (80) laundry room on fire

On Sunday afternoon, June 7^th, the Indian River (80), Lewes (82) and Rehoboth Beach (86) fire companies were alerted for a commercial structural fire at Holly Lake Campsites.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and the Sussex County Paramedics.  It was reported as the laundry room was on file.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Chief 80-15 and Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial 360 exterior evaluation and commencement with an internal evaluation. 

It was quickly identified as a belt on a washing machine as the primary issues. All additional emergency response apparatus were cancelled.

The apparatus on scene completed their assignments and were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
