Legacy and Life
Corporal Snook was 34 years old at the time of his death and is survived by his wife, Lauren, and their one-year-old daughter, Letty. A former Division I wrestler for the University of Maryland and a 2009 graduate of Saint Mark’s High School, he was remembered by colleagues and state officials as a dedicated mentor and field training officer who shaped the next generation of troopers. During the incident at the DMV, Snook was praised for his final act of bravery, pushing a coworker out of harm’s way before being fatally wounded.
